Secrets of Swedish Pronunciation
The only thing that is a bit difficult for everyone in learning Swedish is the pronunciation of vocals that are completely specific to Swedish and related Germanic languages. As Swedish has nine vowels that are all pronounced in two ways (longer and shorter), we get the difficult task to learn 18 phonemes (vowel pronunciation). In addition, vocals are divided into hard and soft, so in combination with consonants they create monosyllabic phonemes that are specific, but with practice, you can do everything!
If you like running, you don’t have to be an Olympic champion, but if you train enough, you will be able to participate in many marathons in nature in various parts of the world, and it will surely be fun, maybe more fun than trying to become a participant in the Olympics. And marathons are, don’t forget, available for everyone from 7 to 77 years of age, including Swedish vocals.
